I’ve been burning to start my new blog. The words have been tumbling inside of me wanting to come out. I am a Sagittarius rising, and the ruler of my ascendant, Jupiter is in Leo, conjunct Mercury. However, my Mercury is retrograde. This means so much of my life, I have wanted to be on stage, be a writer, express myself. But I’ll admit sometimes, my words have tumbled out all wrong. That said, it is the hallmark of my chart, my purpose, to get my words out there for better or worse. My sister who also has Mercury retrograde, said it is our super power. While everyone else struggles with Mercury retrogrades, it is like a coming home. That said, I’m not sure I don’t struggle, lol, but hopefully it is a little easier than others having a natal Mercury retrograde. I’ve heard all of the astrologers mentioning how the upcoming Mercury retrograde is the worst. And yes, the signs aren’t great. Mercury is fallen in Pisces. But I’ve also heard it described as the broken artist’s voice. Perhaps, I am a broken artist. Perhaps, as a Sagittarius rising, I have to find the silver lining somehow, as long as my Cancer sun in the 8th house doesn’t get the best of me.
